The property is easily accessible and highly visible; it is located on a signalized intersection near national brand name stores Super Target, Kohl’s, Lowe’s, and Walgreens.

Best Buy Co., Inc. is the nation's leading specialty retailer of name brand consumer electronics, personal computers, home entertainment products, software and appliances. The company was founded in St. Paul, MN in 1966 and enjoys a dominant position in the Minneapolis market.

This property is 139,410 square feet of prime retail space and is an anchor with Target in the Grandview Crossing Shopping Center; this power center is in the heart of the Route 8 retail corridor in Gibsonia, PA, one of the Pittsburgh MSA’s most affluent areas. Located about 15 miles northeast of Pittsburgh’s Central Business District, and 2 miles north of the Pennsylvania Turnpike, the property is situated ½ mile north of U.S. Routes 8 and 910. It opened in 2009. New housing construction has been brisk in surrounding municipalities, and population and employment growth is fueled by the recent entry of Westinghouse Electric and Medrad in nearby Cranberry and Marshall Townships.

The History of Ayson Realty Company
Our story begins with Walter Mckaba, a poor Syrian immigrant who arrived by steamboat in 1908. He traveled across the Atlantic Ocean with his parents and eight brothers and sisters – all hoping to complete their search for the ‘American Dream’.

From his humble beginnings on Brooklyn’s Atlantic Avenue to the pinnacle of his success at his office in Upper Montclair, Walter Mckaba lived that ‘American Dream’. Throughout his first years in America he struggled to learn English, but his hard work paid off - Mckaba eventually graduated from New York University at the age of 20. Upon graduation, he was offered a job at Okite Chemical – where he was the youngest accountant. He began buying and selling small properties in Brooklyn’s Bedford-Stuyvesant area, which unbeknownst to him was the start of a very long successful life in real estate.

For more than 60 years Walter Mckaba worked to create a full-service commercial real estate company providing middle-income Americans with quality housing. Today his life’s work and vision live on in Ayson Realty’s current portfolio of apartment housing: Troy Towers, The Joan, and The Caroline. Walter probably never imagined that his grandchildren would stand at the helm of Ayson, and steer his vision to success.

Although residential housing remains the fundamental business of Ayson Realty Corporation, a strong retail portfolio has been added to its holdings; the firm has carefully invested in some of retail’s powerhouses: Lowe’s Home Improvement, Best Buy, and AutoZone.

Although Walter has passed, we know he watches over business and looks on with a warm heart and big smile. We know that once you peruse our portfolio, you too will grow to love our properties as much as we do, and become a member of the Ayson family.
